Letter to the Editor: Budget boondoggle has shown Pennsylvania needs a fairer tax system

I thank the community for its generous participation in the &#8220;Be a Santa to a Senior&#8221; program.With your help we were able to collect, wrap and deliver more than 275 gifts to seniors in Luzerne County who are isolated and financially needy. It was touching to see the generosity in this community.A special thank-you goes to the participating stores, which include Walmart in Pittston, and Walgreens stores in Dallas, Kingston and Wilkes-Barre.
