Coding kids at Wilkes-Barre Academy

<p>The Wyoming Valley West Middle School seventh and eighth grade band was selected as the first ever middle school band to perform as the featured ensemble at the Marywood Junior High Wind Band celebration. Brendan Woods and Ian Cavalari placed first in their respective sections beating students from 55 other area schools. This is the second year in a row for Brendan to receive first place, which is an extremely rare occurrence.
