Our Opinion: You’ve always got a prayer at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wilkes-Barre

<p>The parishes of St. Robert Bellarmine at St. Aloysius Church in Wilkes-Barre and Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Hanover Township held their annual &#8220;Make A Child Happy&#8221; toy drive. Each parish collected unwrapped gifts for children from infants through 14 years of age for the Catholic Social Services &#8220;Gifts for Kids&#8221; program at the St. Vincent dePaul Kitchen, which has teamed with the United States Marines &#8220;Toys for Tots&#8221; program. In recent years, thousands of children in our area were provided new toys thanks to Catholic Social Services, the U.S. Marines and our local parishes.
