<p>NUREMBERG &#8212; The Nuremberg Community Players will hold open auditions for their upcoming musical, &#8220;Grease&#8221;. Auditions will be held at the new home of the Nuremberg Community Players, the former St. Joseph&#8217;s Catholic Church, 283 Hazle Street, Nuremberg. Auditions will be this Tuesday, January 5th at 7pm.</p><p>The auditions are open to men and women ages 16 and up only, due to mature content. The cast is comprised of a total of 19 people. Two of them are older adults (one male, one female.) The rest of the cast is in the range between high school age and adults in their 20&#8217;s. Adults who are in their 30&#8217;s or 40&#8217;s that look like they could be in their 20&#8217;s can also be cast and may audition. Almost all parts require singing, with some solo lines. The non-singing roles are ChaCha (female, good dancer), Patty (female, cheerleader), and Vince Fontaine (male adult, radio disc jockey).</p><p>Females should be prepared to sing &#8220;Hopelessly Devoted to You.&#8221; Males should be prepared to sing &#8220;Sandy.&#8221; Our pianist will review the songs with the group before we listen to individuals.</p><p>The performance dates will be March 17, 18, 19, 20, 2016.</p><p>Anyone interested in auditioning for the show or anyone willing to help with the production in any way is encouraged to attend.
