GFWC-West Side supports Toys for Tots

<p>HARRISBURG &#8212; Utz, the Pennsylvania company popular for its potato chips and other snacks, is facing a federal lawsuit brought on by three employees, but could involve as many as 1,900 people, <a href="http://www.witf.org/news/2016/01/utz-faces-federal-lawsuit-over-overtime-pay.php" target="_blank">according to WITF</a>. The employees allege they were denied overtime pay.</p><p>Three drivers from Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania say they stocked store shelves with Utz snacks for many more than 40 hours a week but received only their regular pay. The drivers are asking other Utz drivers to join the lawsuit, which could involve as many as 1,900 employees, WITF reports.</p><p>Utz, based in Hanover, York County, didn&#8217;t respond to a request for comment from WITF.</p><p>However, in its legal filing, Utz claims the drivers are actually salespeople who are not eligible for overtime.</p><p>An attorney that represents the workers told WITF that he disagrees with Utz&#8217;s stance and each driver could be owed thousands of dollars in overtime pay.</p><style>
