Clear skies, cold temperatures expected as the week rolls on

<p>PLAINS TWP. &#8212; A man and woman are facing charges after a physical dispute at the Mohegan Sun Hotel.</p><p>Police were dispatched to the hotel at 4:02 a.m. on Monday for a reported physical dispute between a man and woman. The man, identified as Brian Trischetta, of Scranton, allegedly became combative with officers when they arrived.</p><p>While officers were attempting to arrest Trischetta, the woman, identified as Angela Berta, allegedly began assaulting officers.</p><p>Police say a security guard was struck by Trischetta, and that he allegedly spat on officers. The hotel room also reportedly sustained damages due to the scuffle.</p><p>Trischetta and Berta were each charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and other charges. Both were jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><p>Responding officers sustained injuries, but the police report did not list specifics or their severity.</p><style>
