Fire that started on front porch under investigation

<p>ROCHESTER, N.Y. &#8212; A New York-based grocery store chain is recalling more than 1,000 pounds of chicken.</p><p>A federal inspector found during a review that Wegmans altered its production schedule and produced chicken products outside the approved hours of operation. Chicken products produced on Sunday were never inspected.</p><p><a href="http://www.fsis.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsis/home/!ut/p/a1/04_Sj9CPykssy0xPLMnMz0vMAfGjzOINAg3MDC2dDbwsfDxdDDz9AtyMgnyMDf3dDIAKIkEKcABHA0L6w_WjUJX4Wxq6AZWEBfp7OzsbWPgZwxTgtqIgN8Ig01FREQBCfym8/?1dmy&amp;page=gov.usda.fsis.internet.newsroom&amp;urile=wcm%3Apath%3A%2FFSIS-Content%2Finternet%2Fmain%2Ftopics%2Frecalls-and-public-health-alerts%2Frecall-case-archive%2Farchive%2F2016%2Frecall-003-2016-release" target="_blank">The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Tuesday</a> night that it issued a Class 1 recall, classified as a situation that has &#8220;a reasonable probability&#8221; that consuming the product will result in serious, adverse health consequences or death.</p><p>There haven&#8217;t yet been any confirmed reports of adverse reactions from the chicken.</p><p>The chicken was shipped to distribution and retail locations in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.</p><p>The grocery store chain, based in Rochester, is offering full refunds for eligible items produced on Jan. 3, 2016. The following products are subject to the recall:</p><p>&#8226; Approximately 1-lb. vacuum-sealed packages containing &#8220;Wegmans Italian Flavored Chicken Breast Cutlet&#8221; with a use-by date of 1/24/2016.</p><p>&#8226; Approximately 1-lb. vacuum-sealed packages containing &#8220;Wegmans Brown Sugar Barbecue Seasoned Chicken Breast Cutlet&#8221; with a use-by date of 1/15/2016.</p><p>&#8226; 3-lb. vacuum-sealed packages containing &#8220;Wegmans Garlic &amp; Fennel Whole Chicken Roaster&#8221; with a use-by date of 1/13/2016.</p><p>&#8226; 1-lb. vacuum-sealed packages containing &#8220;Wokery Sherry Chicken 27482&#8221; with use-by date of 1/13/2016.</p><p><em>Times Leader contributed to this report.</em></p><style>
