Mele’s Musings: Battle of the bulge

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; The Misfit Players will present &#8220;Rockin&#8217; Through Broadway: A Musical Revue,&#8221; with 28 performers and vocalists from Northeastern Pennsylvania who range in age from 8 to 22.</p><p>They will present rock and pop songs taken from some of the most popular Broadway musicals written during the last 50 years, including 30 songs from such musicals as &#8220;We Will Rock You,&#8221; &#8220;Footloose,&#8221; &#8220;Rocky Horrow Show,&#8221; &#8220;Rent,&#8221; &#8220;Tommy,&#8221; &#8220;Kinky Boots,&#8221; &#8220;Aida,&#8221; &#8220;Hair,&#8221; &#8220;Wonderland&#8221; and more.</p><p>Show dates are 7 p.m. Jan. 15, 7 p.m. Jan. 16 and 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at GAR High School auditorium, 250 S.
