Wyoming Valley Art League’s Tuesday Art Social offers area artists a forum to meet, paint and socialize

<p>PALMERTON &#8212; Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Palmerton will attempt to set Guinness World Records for largest multi-venue ski and largest multi-venue snowboard lessons at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8.</p><p>The resort is offering those age 6 and older who take part a 90-minute lesson plus equipment rental for $10.</p><p>Blue Mountain Ski Resort is approximately an hour&#8217;s drive from Wilkes-Barre and can be reached by taking Interstate 476 South to US 209 North via the Mahoning Valley Interchange.</p><p>Lessons will be taught in small groups, not one large gathering. Participants must pre-register by calling 610-826-7700.
