<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Pollstar magazine, the concert industry&#8217;s primary trade publication, has ranked the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts No. 114 on its 2015 list of the Top 200 theaters for worldwide ticket sales.</p><p>This marks the first year the Wilkes-Barre venue has appeared on the Top 200 chart.</p><p>&#8220;We are not yet where we want to be, but we&#8217;re very proud of how far we have come,&#8221; said Will Beekman, the Kirby Center&#8217;s executive director. &#8220;We are especially proud when we look at the other venues on this list, many of which are larger facilities in major markets.&#8221;</p><p>The list also includes prestigious venues like New York City&#8217;s Radio City Music Hall and London&#8217;s Royal Albert Hall.</p><p>According to the publication, the Kirby Center ranks No. 5 among Pennsylvania theaters behind Philadelphia&#8217;s Academy of Music, Pittsburgh&#8217;s Stage AE, the Keswick Theater in Glenside and the Hershey Theater in Hershey.</p><p>&#8220;We&#8217;re in pretty good company,&#8221; Beekman added. &#8220;We have a lot of friends and colleagues on that list; we&#8217;re just happy to join them. Our next goal is to break the Top 100.&#8221;</p><style>
