<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced Tuesday the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force arrested Daysean Henderson.</p><p>Henderson was arrested without incident after the USMS Task Force conducted a traffic stop in conjunction with the Wilkes-Barre Police Department. He was arrested in connection with an armed robbery.</p><p>In July, Pennsylvania State Police responded to a reported robbery with gunshots fired in Laurel Run. Henderson is alleged to have robbed and shot at the victim in a parking lot.</p><p>On Dec. 22, the state police obtained an arrest warrant charging Henderson with aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy commit robbery and other offenses.</p><p>The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force adopted the case to assist in locating and apprehending Henderson. Members of the task force developed information that Henderson was residing in the Wilkes-Barre area, which led to his arrest.</p><p>&#8220;The U.S. Marshals Service and our task force partners recognize the importance of cooperation between federal, state and local police agencies &#8211; especially when searching for fugitives wanted for using firearms to commit violent crimes,&#8221; said U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane &#8220;It is my sincere hope that the arrest of this violent fugitive brings some sense of relief to the community.&#8221;</p><p>The USMS worked jointly in this investigation with officers from the Pennsylvania State Police, the Wilkes-Barre Police Department and the Scranton Police Department.</p><p>Court documents indicate Henderson is charged with five felony counts of a robbery, one felony count of each conspiracy to commit robbery and aggravated assault and a misdemeanor count of simple assault.</p><p>He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Jan. 20 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Dotzel.</p><p>Henderson is currently jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $250,000 bail.</p><style>
