Ringling circus elephants to retire in May

<p>STROUDSBURG &#8212; Landsdale pop-punk band The Wonder Years will perform 8 p.m. April 1 at Stroudsburg&#8217;s Sherman Theater. Los Angeles&#8217; letlive. and Atlanta band Microwave will also perform.</p><p>Tickets will be available from<a href="http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/02005028A40729D5?Brand=shermanthtr&amp;?camefrom=CFC_SHERMAN_ShermanWebsite" target="_blank"> Ticketmaster </a>for $19.50 in advance starting 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15. Sherman Theater members should use the theater&#8217;s <a href="http://www.shermantheater.com/?e=login" target="_blank">website</a> to purchase tickets. If the event doesn&#8217;t sell out, tickets will be available the day of the show for $23.</p><p>According to Sherman Theater&#8217;s website, VIP Boxes are available at 570-420-2808 for this show and include eight tickets, a fruit and cheese platter and waitstaff.</p><p>The Wonder Years released their fifth studio album, &#8220;No Closer to Heaven,&#8221; on Sept. 4, 2015. We talked to The Wonder Years Bassist Josh Martin before the band played an <a href="http://theweekender.com/insidestories/12127/no-closer-to-acoustic-heaven-the-wonder-years-stop-at-gallery-of-sound-on-album-release-tour" target="_blank">acoustic set at Wilkes-Barre record store Gallery of Sound </a>as part of their album release tour.</p><style>
