Cosby's wife is fighting deposition in defamation lawsuit

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The district attorney says last month's fatal shooting of a bank robbery suspect by a moonlighting Pittsburgh police officer was justified. Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. says the officer drew her weapon after the suspect pointed his weapon at her. Twenty-one-year-old suspect Raymone Davis was shot Dec. 4 by an off-duty officer who was in uniform providing security for the First Niagara Bank in the city's Mount Washington neighborhood. Zappala and city police Chief Cameron McLay called the news conference Friday to share surveillance video. The footage shows how the shooting occurred and explains how the suspect was shot in his lower back as he spun away during the gunfire. The officer hasn't been publicly identified.
