LCCC dental department hosts Dr. Andrews

Two Mountain District, Northeast Pennsylvania Council of the Boy Scouts of America, is hosting their Winter Fun Day from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Kirby Park. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Winter Fun Day is open to all Cub Scouts and their families and should pre-register through their packs.The highlights for this year&#8217;s event include professional curling demonstration by the Anthracite Curling Team, The Wilkes Barre Fire Safety House and special appearance from Olaf of Disney&#8217;s hit movie &#8220;Frozen.&#8221;A multitude of stations are set up for a round robin of activities to include winter golf relay races, dog sled racing, boxed ice hockey, snowball sharpshooter, ice fishing, ice rescue techniques and many more. The polar bear challenge is a special WEBELOS skills station that is available for boys in fourth and fifth grade.For more information contact the NEPA Council office at 570-207-1227, or www.nepabsa.org.
