<p>DURYEA &#8212; Police are searching for man that allegedly robbed the U.S. Gas Mini Mart at Main Street and Coxton Road.</p><p>Police, however, say they weren&#8217;t notified about the robbery until hours after it happened.</p><p>Police said the robbery happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday. During the robbery, the man allegedly brandished a knife demanded the clerk give him the money from the register. The clerk opened the register for the man, who removed an undetermined amount of cash and fled the store.</p><p>The manager of the store provided video of the incident to police on Saturday. Police advised the manager that he should advise his employees &#8220;to call 911 immediately with incidents like this and not just to the manager and then wait until they see police to report it.&#8221;</p><p>The suspect appears to be a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and dark shoes.</p><p>Anyone with information is asked to contact the Duryea Police Department at 570-457-1721 ext 2.</p><style>
