<p>SALEM TWP. &#8212; Two house fires that happened within hours of each other overnight are believed to have been accidental, according to Assistant Police Chief Rich Eyer.</p><p>Fire personnel first responded to a report of a home on fire in the 100 block of Salem Boulevard near Shickshinny at about 1 a.m.</p><p>Eyer said a generator on the porch caught on fire, spreading to the rest of the house, which was a total loss.</p><p>Three residents inside the home made it out safely, Eyer said.</p><p>The residence, he said, did not have any electrical service.</p><p>Then at about 5 a.m., fire personnel were again went to 69 Salem Boulevard for another house fire.</p><p>A wood-burning stove was believed to be the source of the fire. The residence had no other heating source.</p><p>Both fires are still under investigation, said Eyer, but neither is suspected of being intentionally set.</p><style>
