STATE PARK-BODY FOUND — Police have released photographs of three rings in hopes that someone can identify skeletal remains found in an eastern Pennsylvania state park. State police say a hiker found the badly decomposed body of a young woman in Ridley Creek State Park in Media on New Year's Day. HANDCUFFED JUDGE — A former Pennsylvania Supreme Court justice convicted of using state-paid staff for campaign activities says the state violated her constitutional rights. The state found in November that the 2013 convictions for Joan Orie Melvin were constitutional. The Marshall woman responded to that finding on Friday in federal court documents. COLLEGE SHUTTLE-CRASH — A La Salle University shuttle bus crashed in North Philadelphia, injuring the driver. The accident occurred around 1 a.m. Tuesday at Broad Street and Olney Avenue. DINOSAUR DISCOVERY — Museum officials say a western Pennsylvania scientist was part of a team that unearthed a new dinosaur in Argentina. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh announced on Tuesday that the dinosaur was discovered by Bernardo Riga and his team. LAKE EFFECT SNOW — Parts of northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania are grappling with a blast of winter weather. The National Weather Service has issued a lake effect snow warning for some areas of the snow belt. Forecasters say snow totals could reach 10 to 18 inches, with 2 feet in some locations by midday Tuesday. The higher elevations will likely see the highest amounts.
