GENEVA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a man wanted for threatening a western New York woman and two young children with a gun has been captured in Pennsylvania. Police in the Ontario County city of Geneva say 29-year-old Michael Anderson was armed with a long gun when he broke into the woman's home Saturday while she was with two children. Officials say Anderson fled the scene before police arrived, then crashed his vehicle at an intersection in the neighboring town of Phelps. Police say he was still carrying the gun when he fled on foot into the woods. Pennsylvania State Police say they captured Anderson on Monday in Franklin County, on the Maryland border 220 miles south of Geneva. The Geneva Police Department is working to bring him back to New York to face charges.
