<p>JIM THORPE &#8212; The Mauch Chunk Opera House has announced an 8 p.m. Saturday, March 19 show featuring Chicago-based jam band Cornmeal.</p><p>Cornmeal&#8217;s sound is influenced by bluegrass and roots. their new album &#8220;Slow Street&#8221; was named Best Studio Album of 2015 by Home Grown Music Network, a collective of jam bands, live music venues and businesses. They were also inducted into Home Grown Music Festival&#8217;s Hall of Fame.</p><p>Tickets for the show are $18 and can be purchased at <a href="http://mcohjt.com/" target="_blank">mcohjt.com</a>, SoundCheck Records in downtown Jim Thorpe or at the Mauch Chunk Opera House box office.
