Scattered congestion should do little to slow the commute

<p>After a week of speculation, it looks like the Wyoming Valley will miss the brunt of the incoming winter storm.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 23 degrees at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are expected today, but there will be a chance for flurries before 1 p.m. The high will be near 29.</p><p>Partly cloudy skies are expected into tonight, with a low around 16.</p><p>Partly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, with a high near 28.</p><p>Cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, along with a 30 percent chance of snow after 1 a.m. Less than half an inch of snow is expected, and the low will be around 19.</p><p>Saturday will once again bring the chance of snow, along with cloudy skies. A 40 percent chance of snow is predicted, but no snowfall amounts have yet been predicted. The high will be near 29.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday night, along with a 40 percent chance of snow. The low will be around 17.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are expected on Sunday, with a high near 29.
