LCCC Wilkes-Barre registration now open

<p>Heights-Murray Elementary School, Wilkes-Barre Area School District, held its 11th annual Spelling Bee. Students from fifth and sixth grades competed according to rules based on the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner will move on to the regional championship in March. The regional winner is awarded a trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Darlene Nunez, fifth grade, is this year&#8217;s winner after over 40 rounds of competition.
