HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — State lawmakers are starting a second process to consider the possible removal of embattled Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane. The House Judiciary Committee planned to consider a resolution Tuesday to authorize a group with subpoena power to make recommendations about her removal for "misbehavior in office." Kane, a Democrat, is battling criminal allegations she leaked secret grand jury material and lied about it under oath. She's asked the state Supreme Court to reinstate her law license. A state Senate committee is scheduled to issue its own report Wednesday about whether Kane's lack of a valid law license has made it impossible for her to do the job. The Senate could invoke an obscure constitutional provision for the chamber to remove her. A Kane spokesman didn't return messages seeking comment.
