PITTSBURGH (AP) — A Cleveland Clinic executive with more than 30 years' experience is Allegheny Health Network's new CEO. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (http://bit.ly/1K8rBsS ) reported the hiring of Cynthia Hundorfean. She's replacing John Paul, who helped health insurer Highmark Inc. create the hospital network in 2013. Highmark bought out the former West Penn Allegheny Health Network as has added hospitals to create Allegheny Health, which includes Allegheny General and West Penn hospitals in Pittsburgh. Highmark says the hiring is part of a "planned transition to sustain the next phase of AHN's progress."
