Free tax preparation available for area residents

<p>The Children&#8217;s Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania (CAC/NEPA) is hosting a public event from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Scranton Club for awareness and financial assistance for the &#8220;Planting-A-Promise&#8221; Healing Garden. There is no cost to attend and complimentary pizza and appetizers will be provided. Guest bartenders will donate tips and those in attendance can win a one year membership to the Scranton Club.
