READING, Pa. (AP) — Many school districts in Pennsylvania have reopened following closures due to the massive weekend storm, but schools in some areas will remain closed. The Reading School District has announced that schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday. All offices will be open. Reading officials said they had intended to reopen Thursday, but the storm "has left many areas throughout Reading unsafe for our students and their families." Allentown school district closed Thursday and all activities cancelled. The administration building will remain open and all professional employees have been told to report. The Easton Area School District will be operating on a two-hour delay on Thursday and Friday. Bethlehem schools will be open but parents are warned to expect delays.
