FREELAND - MMI Preparatory School is offering its entrance examination at 9 a.m. on Saturday. A few openings remain for students entering sixth and ninth grades.To register report to the Coxe Commons. There is a $25 exam and application fee that can be paid on site.The entrance examination assesses students&#8217; general ability (verbal and quantitative), reading comprehension and mathematic achievement. Writing skills are tested as well with a short essay.For the 2015-16 academic year 50 percent of MMI students received need-based financial aid with $879,517 distributed among 126 students. The average need-based award was $6,980 per student.MMI Preparatory School has a student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1. The average class size is 14.5 students. There are 21 full-time and seven part-time faculty members.
