<p>MOOSIC &#8212; This year&#8217;s College SnowJam, an event founded by Marywood University business students Tim Kane and Frank Winger, is set for Feb. 6 at Montage Mountain Ski Resort. Started as a way to give Northeastern Pennsylvania students a way to attend a joint social event and contribute to a good cause, College SnowJam offers all day lift tickets (noon until 10 p.m.) and access to a party deck with food and drink specials, as well as live music, all for $15 in advance or $20 day-of. Equipment rentals for the day will be $15.</p><p>An Urban Jam Competition will also be held Feb. 6, giving riders the opportunity to show off on stairs, boxes, rails and kickers. Prizes will be awarded.</p><p>Local charity Friends of the Poor will receive a portion of ticket sales. Last year&#8217;s event raised over $300.</p><p>The event&#8217;s official afterparty will be held at Backyard Ale House, 523 Linden Street, Scranton.</p><p>For more information and to purchase tickets, visit <a href="http://www.collegesnowjam.com" target="_blank">CollegeSnowJam.com</a>.</p><style>
