PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Fire officials say a four-alarm fire in Philadelphia last week was not intentionally set. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports (http://bit.ly/1SfrqiJ ) that Fire Commissioner Derrick Sawyer spoke to residents at a community meeting Thursday night about the Jan. 19 apartment fire. Sawyer says investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the four-alarm blaze, but that it began on the first floor of the historic brick building. No residents were hurt but two firefighters suffered minor injuries. Sawyer says the weekend snowstorm damaged the building even further after it lost its roof from the blaze.
