Construction on Denny’s restaurant in Pittston Township expected to start in early March

Grad’s funeral service prompts Wilkes-Barre Area School Board to move Monday meeting to Tuesday

<p>FORKSTON TWP. &#8212; Police say Clayton Brehm, 22, of Tunnkhannock, was traveling northbound on state Route 87 near Main Street at 7:25 p.m. Sunday when the Jeep Grand Cherokee he was driving left the northbound lane and struck an embankment on the east side of the roadway. The vehicle went airborne and landed on Main Street.</p><p>After striking several trees on the north side of Main Street, it came to rest on Main Street.</p><p>Brehm was transported from the scene via helicopter to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.</p><p>State Police in Tunkhannock are investigating.</p><style>
