Ed Zygmunt: Warming planet puts familiar Pennsylvania species in peril

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; Two men are facing charges after they allegedly climbed a utility pole along Everhart Street at 7:10 a.m. on Sunday.</p><p>The reason, according to police, was so they could check their cable connections before the Super Bowl.</p><p>Police say they responded to Everhart Street to find Anthony Homa, 48, and John Macking, 44. Police said that one of the men was on a ladder leading up a UGI pole, while another was holding the ladder.</p><p>The men allegedly told police that they were having a problem with their cable, and were checking the connection at the utility pole to make sure their televisions were ready for the Super Bowl.</p><p>Macking was cited for disorderly conduct, while Homa was cited for public drunkenness.</p><p>Police said they found no damage or tampering of the lines.</p><style>
