Dallas Rotary Club sponsors luncheon for Active Adult Center

<p>Alecia Frances Torbik and Jesse Michael Lyons were united in marriage on Sept. 5, 2015.</p><p>The bride is the daughter of Mark and Delphine Torbik, Wilkes Barre. She is the granddaughter of Roseann Daddamio and the late Raymond Daddamio and the late Andrew and Matilda Torbik.</p><p>The groom is the son of John Lyons Sr., Las Vegas, Nevada and JoAnne Mazzarella, Manassas, Virginia. He is the grandson of Rosetta Lyons and the late John Lyons and the late Joseph and Jeanette Keleher.</p><p>The bride was given away by her father. She chose her sister, Michela Torbik, to be the maid of honor and she chose her friend, Amy Reed, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Reilly, Meghan Marsh, Kayty Gialanella, cousins of the bride; Brooke Mummert and Caitlyn Chapasko, friends of the bride.</p><p>The groom chose his brother, John Lyons, as his best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Mazzarella, stepbrother of the groom; Justin Bartell, Fred Reed and Michael Hammond, friends of the groom.</p><p>The couple included a &#8220;love lock&#8221; ceremony as part of their vows and the bride&#8217;s sister sang a beautiful rendition of &#8220;Make You Feel My Love&#8221; by Adele following the couple&#8217;s pronouncement as husband and wife.</p><p>The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her mother and nonna at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, Scranton. The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Frederick Stegmaier Mansion, Wilkes Barre. Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were held at Genetti Hotel and Conference Center, Wilkes Barre.</p><p>The bride is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies. She is employed by Catholic Social Services as a caseworker.</p><p>The groom is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He is currently employed by Torbik Safe &amp; Lock.</p><p>The couple spent their honeymoon on a cruise to Bermuda and currently reside in Wilkes Barre.</p><style>
