PITTSBURGH (AP) — A SWAT team peacefully ended a standoff with a domestic violence suspect in Pittsburgh's Mount Washington section. Police say the man was arguing with a female inside a home on Merrimac Street when he gained access to a firearm and threatened to harm her around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The female and others inside the home managed to flee. Police say the man refused to come out. The SWAT team deployed gas canisters into the home and the man peacefully surrendered. His name and charges have not been released.
