Butler County files suit against 15 phone service providers

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC is partnering with a pediatric hospital in Virginia to further expand its pediatric liver transplant program. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports (http://bit.ly/23ZUhLJ) transplant team members from Children's will assist in managing patients at University of Virginia Children's Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. The transplants will be performed by surgeons of both hospitals in Virginia. The UVA Transplant Center has performed more than 60 pediatric liver transplants since 1989. Dr. George Mazariegos, chief of pediatric transplantation at Children's, says the hospital looks forward to expanding its transplant services and providing the best possible care to patients.
