WEST PITTSTON - State Senator John Yudichak reminds area veterans that a Pennsylvania American Legion service officer will be available at his district office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 801 Wyoming Ave., Suite 180, West Pittston.Interested veterans and their spouses are asked to call 570-883-4690 to schedule an appointment.The officer will assist with government benefits including VA health care, compensation, pension, education and dependent benefits. Surviving spouses can also meet to learn about their eligibility for VA benefits.
