Pocono Medical Center receives ACR accreditation

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Jamie Tworkowski, founder of the non-profit organization To Write Love On Her Arms, will speak at 7 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Wilkes-Barre&#8217;s F.M. Kirby Center.</p><p>To Write Love On Her Arms was founded by Tworkowski in 2006 after he included the line in a MySpace post about a teenage friend battling addiction and depression. Tworkowski began selling t-shirts to raise money for his friend&#8217;s treatment, and the group began to field messages from other teens facing similar issues soon after. To Write Love On Her Arms&#8217; story was adapted into a feature film in 2015 by Sony Pictures.</p><p>Tickets to the event are free and can be obtained at the Kirby Center box office starting Monday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. There is a four ticket limit per person.
