NANTICOKE &#8212; A State Police fire marshal has determined Thursday&#8217;s fire at a hobby shop on South Market Street was likely electrical in nature, but could not pinpoint the exact location.According to the Nanticoke City Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the area for a report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire on the first floor of the three-story building.It took members from Nanticoke, Hanover Township and Kingston about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. The building suffered extensive damage on the first floor.Fire officials said the building was unoccupied at the time of the fire and no firefighter injuries were reported.Officials identified the owner of property as Clem Ojevich, who stated his family has operated various businesses in Nanticoke since 1945.Nanticoke firefighters was also assisted by Nanticoke Medic 25, Nanticoke police, Hanover Township Medic 9, Hanover Township Fire and police and Ashley EMS.The Nanticoke Street Department was requested to the scene to deal with roadways and sidewalks freezing due to water runoffs.<div class="metaInfo"><bylineMeta>By Bill O&#8217;Boyleboboyle@www.timesleader.com</bylineMeta></div><div class="metaInfo"><shirttailMeta>Reach Bill O&#8217;Boyle at 570-991-6118 or on Twitter @TLBillOBoyle</shirttailMeta></div>
