John and Ann Marie Lizak celebrate 50th wedding anniverary

Hunting for shed antlers is a popular winter hobby

<p>Jaime Le McMurtry and Adam Scott Jones were united in marriage on June 20, 2015 inside the Rotunda at Luzerne County Courthouse, Wilkes-Barre, followed by a cocktail hour and Oyster wedding reception at Genetti Hotel and Conference Center, Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Jaime is the daughter of William and Donna Giza of Pittston. She is the granddaughter of the late Joseph Palonis, Green Brook, New Jersey, and the late Marion Blecher, Exeter.</p><p>Adam is the son of Scott Jones, Wilkes-Barre, and Teri Culp, Fairfax, Virginia. He is the grandson of Lori Wallace and the late Ray Culp Sr., and the late Sheldon and Jean Jones, all of Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>The bride, given in marriage by both her parents, chose the groom&#8217;s sister, Megan Jones, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Della Penna and Trista Brown, cousins of the bride, along with Megan McNulty, Jennifer Whitlock, Amanda Cole, and Kasia Szulborski, all friends of the bride.</p><p>The groom chose his best friend of 15 years, Matt Considine, as his best man. Groomsmen were Jason McMurtry, brother of the bride, along with Dan Persing, Ryan Della Penna, Carlo Mercadante, Ian Martin and Andrew Mikolaichik, all friends of the groom.</p><p>The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Shawn Walker with acoustic guitar played by Aaron Bruch.</p><p>The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her mother and bridesmaids at The Cafe, Plains. Both parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Kevin&#8217;s Bar and Restaurant.</p><p>The bride is a 2005 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 2009 King&#8217;s College graduate where she earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in mass communications. She is currently employed as a restaurant manager with Longhorn Steakhouse in Spring, Texas.</p><p>The groom is a 2003 graduate of Meyer&#8217;s High School and attended Temple University. He is employed by BMW North America as a regional product trainer.</p><p>The couple honeymooned at Excellence Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They currently reside in The Woodlands, Texas, with their two cats, Jesse and Leo.</p><style>
