Scattered areas of traffic congestion should do little to slow the morning commute

<p>Slightly warmer temperatures, along with the chance for some rain, will be possible in the Wyoming Valley through the midweek.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 33 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will gradually become sunny today, and the high will be near 43. Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 26.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Tuesday, along with a slight chance of rain after noon. The high will be near 41.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Tuesday night, along with a 50 percent chance of rain. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 33.</p><p>An 80 percent chance of rain is predicted for Wednesday and into Wednesday night, but no rainfall amounts have been predicted.
