Environmental group threatens lawsuit over Mackinac pipeline

BEAVER, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man is getting prison time after pleading guilty to charges he caused a fatal crash in 2013. The Beaver County Times reports (http://bit.ly/1KHhDzn ) that 67-year-old Frank Malone has been sentenced to two to nearly five years behind bars for a crash that killed 25-year-old Regina Newton. Authorities say the Center Township man hit another vehicle on Interstate 376 in Hopewell Township that had four passengers in it, including a pair of 5-year-old children. Newton was a passenger in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
