STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — A man has been charged with abusing the corpse of a Philadelphia woman found dead on the side of a central Pennsylvania road on Valentine's Day. Police say 59-year-old Robert Moir met 35-year-old Corinne Pena in the Philadelphia area and brought her back to the State College area after spending several nights together in a hotel. Ferguson Township police say Moir found Pena dead late Feb. 13 on his bathroom floor. Police believe she overdosed but tests to confirm that are still pending. Pena told police he left her body along the road, figuring the body would be found and wouldn't decompose because of the cold temperatures. Defense attorney James Bryant says Moir "had a house guest that died on him. He probably should have called 911, but he didn't."
