<p>Rain is expected today, along with the chance for some snow tonight, but the weekend in the Wyoming Valley should be much quieter.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 48 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with light rain reported.</p><p>Showers are expected before 9 a.m. today, with up to a tenth of an inch of rain possible. Cloudy skies are expected otherwise, and today&#8217;s high will drop to 41 degrees by 4 p.m.</p><p>Tonight, there will be chance of showers before 9 p.m., followed by a chance of rain and snow showers into the overnight hours. Less than half an inch of snow accumulation is expected, and tonight&#8217;s low will be around 22.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, along with a slight chance of snow showers. The high will be near 31.</p><p>Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low around 19.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 36. Mostly cloudy skies are expected to carry over into Saturday night, with a low around 29.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 51.
