LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — A man wanted in connection with a homicide in Philadelphia nearly three decades ago has been captured in Massachusetts. Police say 43-year-old Vicheth Prak was located at a home in Lowell on Wednesday night after detectives from the Philadelphia Police Department arrived in the northeastern Massachusetts city with a warrant for his arrest in connection with a 1989 homicide. Prak is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Lowell District Court as a fugitive from justice. It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer. Lowell police did not provide details of the 1989 homicide. A Philadelphia police spokesman also could not immediately provide details Thursday, and a statewide online database of criminal court records didn't list charges or a warrant for Prak.
