PHILADELPHIA &#8212; Attorneys for Reivia Ashley LLC, of Wyckoff, New Jersey, filed a motion Thursday to quit a civil lawsuit filed by the company after telling a federal judge that Reivia&#8217;s owner, Ronald Garner, failed to pay representation fees. Weir &amp; Partners LLC, of Philadelphia, has represented the New Jersey-based company since Feb. 20, 2015, replacing the previous attorneys Hamburg &amp; Golden P.C. &#8220;The Weir firm can no longer justify it&#8217;s continued representation of plaintiff,&#8221; the document said. The civil suit stems from a bigger lawsuit involving the Huber Breaker in Ashley. Reivia Ashley LLC claims they loaned Paselo Logistics LLC money to buy the Huber Breaker. In a suit filed in September 2014, Reivia accuses Paselo of stealing money and scrap metal from the former coal processing site, asking to get the money back and keep Paselo off the property.Reivia was seeking more than $150,000, plus court fees and costs.The document also alleges Garner verbally abused the attorneys.
