STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — The president and CEO of a central Pennsylvania health system is retiring. The Centre Daily Times reports (http://bit.ly/1oNaWkW ) that Steve Brown will step down from his positions at the State College-based Mount Nittany Health on Nov. 1. He has served both roles since 2010. Board Chairman James Brown says Steve Brown will work closely with the board to help find a successor. An executive search firm is also expected to be hired to work with a search committee. Mount Nittany Health expanded under Brown's tenure, now covering six counties and roughly a half-million people.
