NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. (AP) — A coroner has released the name of a man whose body was found near a western Pennsylvania creek hours after he was reported missing. Beaver County Coroner David Gabauer says the man is 25-year-old Andrew Verba, of Zelienople (zee-lee-en-OH'-pul). Zelienople police Chief James Miller says relatives reported the man missing about 2:30 p.m. Thursday after they returned from being out of town and he wasn't at home. Zelienople is about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. The man's body was found Thursday evening in some woods about five miles west of his home, in Marion Township. The body was found along Connoquenessing (kaw-noh-kweh-NES'-sing) Creek. It wasn't immediately clear what led authorities to search that area. The coroner says the cause of death remained under investigation. ___ This story has been corrected to show the dead man's last name is 'Verba' not 'Verva.'
