UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A southwestern Pennsylvania woman will spend three to six years in prison for a fiery drunken-driving crash that killed her passenger. The (Uniontown) Herald-Standard reports (http://bit.ly/1OVbqdZ ) 35-year-old Shawna Courie was sentenced Thursday. She was convicted last month of charges including homicide by vehicle and DUI. Prosecutors say the Vanderbilt woman's blood alcohol level was 0.211 percent when the Dodge Neon she was driving hit a tree. That's more than twice the legal limit. Her passenger, 25-year-old Andrew Vrabel, died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries when the car caught fire on Sept. 23, 2013.
