<p>Raymond Hoyt celebrated his 90th birthday on March 6, 2016. Born in 1926, He is a lifetime resident of Dallas. After his time on The USS Shannon, a destroyer-minelayer in the Navy in WWII, he retired from a plastering career and enjoyed antique auctions and re-finishing furniture. Ray had eight children and has eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.</p><style>
