IN BRIEF: FAST-FOOD SHOOTING — Police say a man eating dinner at a Philadelphia fast-food restaurant was angry at a worker for cleaning near his table and shot another employee who tried to intervene. K-9 OFFICER KILLED — A Pittsburgh-area man accused of fighting with police before his son fatally stabbed a K-9 and was killed by officers has been arrested again. Police say Bruce Kelley Sr. was arrested around 7 p.m. Sunday after an officer spotted him on a busway platform. A judge last week ordered him to remain off Port Authority property. BABYSITTER-DEAD INFANT — A Pennsylvania woman will serve up to seven years in prison over the death of a 3-month-old girl she was babysitting. PANNING FOR GOLD-DEATH — Authorities are investigating the death of a man who was found dead at the edge of a western Pennsylvania creek after he went panning for gold. CRASH-FIREFIGHTERS HURT — Authorities say two western Pennsylvania firefighters were hurt while responding to a fire when their vehicle hit an embankment. It happened around 4 p.m. Sunday while two Munhall firefighters were responding to West Homestead. Officials say the 18-year-old and 20-year-old firefighters were conscious following the crash and were taken to a hospital. ARRANGED ROBBERY-SLAYING — A Lincoln University student has been shot and killed after what investigators are calling an arranged robbery set up by an eastern Pennsylvania man. Coatesville police say 22-year-old Christopher Robinson was shot in the neck and died on the way to a hospital Saturday night. BEATING DEATH-HAMMER — Authorities say a woman is dead after she was beaten to death with a hammer in north Philadelphia. It happened just before 5 p.m. on Sunday. Police say the 32-year-old was beaten to death with a hammer inside of a rowhouse. TRAIN-PEDESTRIAN STRUCK — Authorities say a man has died after he was hit by a New Jersey Transit train. A NJ Transit spokeswoman says the 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after being hit in Hamilton Township on Sunday night SPORTS: HKN--LIGHTNING-FLYERS PHILADELPHIA -- The Tampa Bay Lightning for their 10th straight win against the Philadelphia Flyers.
