On Thursday, March 31, 2016, the Mature Worker Program, sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne-Wyoming counties, will host an open house event for local employers from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gennetti&#8217;s Convention Center, 77 E. Market St., Wilkes Barre.The event gives local Luzerne County employers an opportunity to witness how the program works and how it can help with their hiring needs.Employers are encouraged to visit the open house to see how the program helps find dependable, dedicated and experienced employees. The Mature Worker Program may also help pay for the first month salary. Ask about the On the Job Experience program.
