<p>The Crestwood Comets ice hockey team&#8217;s appearance in the 2016 Flyers Cup came to an end on Monday. The 11th seed Comets lost to No. 3 Unionville 5-4.</p><p>Facing a Unionville team that beat their last opponent by a score of 11-0, Crestwood jumped out to a 2-0 lead midway through the second period before Unionville tied it up heading into the final frame.</p><p>Crestwood gained a 4-2 lead on goals from Thomas Kulak - his second, and Tanner Kahlau, in the third period before Unionville scored three times in 1:11 for the win.</p><p>In their second consecutive appearance representing northeastern Pennsylvania in the Flyers Cup, Crestwood advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Palmyra 4-3 on March 2.
